A Special Presentation |
|
“The Magic of the Mark” to Invited Craft Masons |
|
Not far to travel tonight, no on ramps, no Motorways, 5 minutes and I was there, now doesn’t that make a change, anyway, to continue there was a decent number of members and guests to welcome our Asst PGM W.Bro. Michael Pinckard PGStwd and the Prov G Sec W. Bro. Kevin T. Chicken PGStwd.
The Mark meeting was called off to prepare the Lodge complete with a film projector, then it was time for the for the Craft Masons to enter and be welcomed by the WM on behalf of the Lodge. The Asst PGM began the presentation in fine stile before playing the film created by Mark Grand Lodge “The Magic of the Mark” he then asked for questions from anyone present which he was happy to answer.
Following this a short Introduction was given by members of the four Mark Lodges in the new Trafford Group, again well received before the Craft Masons retired. Once the meeting closed everyone made their way to the dining room and once glasses were charged took up their allotted seats for the Festive Board.
An excellent meal was served up by the friendly and very efficient Hall staff, the usual Toasts and Responses followed which were all well received, then all too soon it was over, then as is usual in this degree everyone said their goodbyes with the genuine handshakes of Friendship used in this degree, before stepping out into the cool night air.
Here’s looking forward to the next Mark Meeting to see old friends and those I have yet to meet, remember your only a stranger once, Mark Well.
Not a member of the colourful Royal Ark Mariner Degree yet, why not come and join us, if you attend Urmston Masonic Hall you will find Chorlton Royal Ark Mariners, No. 394, who meet there and will be only too happy to welcome you into their ranks.
